Effective 17 October 2026 · Applies to xintcard.com
Most websites drop dozens of cookies to follow you around the internet. XintCard does the opposite. This website sets two small cookies, both needed to keep its forms working securely, and nothing that tracks you, profiles you or follows you to other websites.
A session cookie and a security token. Both expire after 2 hours of inactivity.
No advertising, analytics, social-media or cross-site tracking cookies, pixels or fingerprinting.
Both cookies are set by xintcard.com and are never shared with other companies.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, so we do not interrupt you with a cookie banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website remember information between page loads, for example that you have an open session or that a form submission really came from you.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies, usually for advertising or analytics, are called third-party cookies. This website uses only first-party cookies.
The cookies we use
This is the complete list of cookies set by xintcard.com.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
xintcard-sessionFIRST PARTY |
Keeps your browsing session. It holds the scrambled answer to the contact-form verification code and the confirmation messages shown after you submit a form. It contains only a random identifier. Your details are stored on our server, not in the cookie. | Strictly necessary | 2 hours after your last visit |
XSRF-TOKENFIRST PARTY |
Protects our forms against cross-site request forgery, an attack in which another website tries to submit a form on your behalf. It holds an encrypted random token that our server checks when you send a form. | Strictly necessary · Security | 2 hours after your last visit |
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies and no retargeting or ad-measurement pixels.
- No analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services. The basic traffic figures we look at come from our own server logs, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- No social-media plugins such as like or share buttons that load content from social networks. The social links in our footer are plain links.
- No fingerprinting or other techniques that identify your device without cookies.
- No browser storage, such as local storage, is used on our public pages.
Third-party services
Our pages load the Saira and Share Tech Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address and browser details, but Google Fonts does not set cookies. You can read how Google handles this in Google's privacy policy.
When you follow a link to another website, such as one of our social-media profiles or a source we cite, that website may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those cookies.
Why we do not ask for consent
Privacy laws, including the EU and UK rules on cookies, require consent for cookies that are not essential, such as analytics or advertising cookies. They do not require consent for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you ask for or to keep it secure.
Both of our cookies fall into that category. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting it.
Managing and deleting cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time:
Because we do not track you, there is nothing to opt out of. Settings such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track do not change how this website behaves.
Our team's dashboard
XintCard staff who sign in to our private administration dashboard use the same two cookies. If they choose "Keep me signed in", a remember_web_… cookie keeps them signed in on that device until they sign out, for up to about 400 days. Their browser also stores their light or dark theme choice. None of this applies to visitors to the public website.
Changes to this page
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page before the change takes effect. The revision date at the top shows when it last changed.
